Turmeric:
An Orangish Yellow Root, from the family of Zingiberaceae (ginger). It is well known for healing skin disorders, respiratory tract, joints and digestive system. Turmeric is also use in treating Arthritis, allergies, liver issues, depression, as it has anti-cancer agent; it is also preventing numerous kinds of cancers. It is also found that it improves brain health.
Turmeric is also well known for its natural yellow pigmentation and uses for food color and aroma in various to food naturally. It tastes warm, bitter and black pepper flavor and fragrance resembles to Mustard.
According to a source, Turmeric contains more than 300 naturally occurring components including Beta-carotene, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), calcium, flavonoids, fiber, iron, niacin, potassium, zinc, magnesium copper, manganese and many other nutrients. Methods of Applying Turmeric (Paste):
Turmeric powder has several benefits and can be use once or twice in a week. It is naturally dead skin remover, soothes skin inflammation, lightens the skin and also prevents aging.- Mix 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp Turmeric powder and few drops of lemon juice, mix them well till they become paste and apply to skin and rest it for 9 - 15 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. Happily, cleared and light skin (twice a week).
- 2 tsp gram flour, 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder and few drops of lemon juice, mix all ingredients well and apply to skin and wait for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse off. This pack will not only ease skin inflammation but also lightens and brightens the skin with soft and smooth skin texture.
As a Scrub:
- 1 1/2 tbsp oatmeal powder, 1tsp turmeric powder, few drops of lemon juice and rose water to make a scrub. Mix all well and apply to skin and leave it till dried, with the help of water massage the scrub until it is removed from skin and moisturize. (Thrice a month).
- Having tan and pigmented skin, no more worries, this hack will fix all. Mix a pinch of turmeric powder, 1 tsp milk, 1 tsp honey well and apply on affected area and rest it for 13 to 14 minutes, rinse it off and apply moisturizer (twice a week).
- Do you want to repair and refresh your skin? here is the remedy, take a fully ripe Avocado and mash it to paste, add turmeric powder and yogurt in equal amount to mashed avocado and mix well. Apply to skin and wait for 13 to 15 minutes. massage it off and apply any soft moisturizer.

By Consuming:
- Take a glass of milk (any milk) and squeeze 1 or 2 turmeric oil capsules, add honey and drink. It naturally soothes nervous system and blood flow.
